Belle is the littlest puppy from Yestie’s litter in May 2017. Born in Moscow (Dedovsk), Russia at Yulia Chalova’s, Belle and her littermates came “home” to Czechia and then Holland in October 2017. Since then, three of her littermates have gone to wonderful pet homes but Belle has stayed with us at Mandaladax.
She is a the littlest tink even at a year old, weighing 3.1kg and measuring 27cm, she is a true kaninchen. She has her mum’s attitude to shows, she loves being the star in the ring. As a little pup she had that attitude and in the ring now at a year old, she is just the same. She is happy with people and dogs, loves a good cuddle and is happy chewing almost anything….remove all shoes, handbags and leads from her line of sight! But like a true Mandaladax Dachshund, she also is a huntress and enjoys chasing moles and mice in our back field in Czechia.
She started showing as a Junior in March 2018 and in her first 8 shows she was Best Female 2x and Best Junior 3x, she became Luxembourg Junior Champion in April 2018, qualified for Crufts there and also has her first points towards Junior Championships in Belgium and Holland. As a Silver Dapple, she is sometimes the most unusually coloured dog in the breed ring, but we don’t mind the attention and she enjoys strutting her stuff.
