Peony is the first born of the Bonfire litter, she is adventurous, charming and little! Our pocket rocket, we show her in the kaninchen classes in Europe. She is a great companion and loves to go everywhere, especially the garden centre. Equally likely to be found hunting moles or sleeping on the sofa. She has earned all three JCAC’s needed for Belgium Junior Champion and was Best of Breed at her first show as a Junior in Belgium. She has also been Best of Breed and 4th in Group at her third show in Belgium as a Junior; and in Intermediate class she has been Best of Breed 3x, twice in Poland and once in Belgium. In Poland she was 2nd and 4th in Group. Showing in Holland, she has been Best Opposite Sex and 1st in her Junior class 2x.
We took her to Croatia for the Zagreb Winter Classic in 2016 where she was Club Champion as a Junior and 1st in her class all three days, qualifying for Crufts 2017. In 2017 she also went to Split, where she was BOS 3x and BOB once, 1 excellent all four times Intermediate class. She closed her Croatian Adult Championship when she was 2, November 2017 and then became Luxembourg Champion in March 2018. She took a break from showing the first half 2019 for a lovely litter of puppies. When she went back in the ring in the Autumn, she became Champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska., as well as Grand Champion of Croatia. During the summer of 2022, she became Champion of Romania, and she finally closed her Belgian Champions. She is also an International Champion.
She had her second litter in March 2021, and since then she has been enjoying a break from shows. You could say she is semi-retired. She turns 8 in November and it is possible she will e back in the ring as a Veteran.
She has always been great fun to take to shows but equally a cuddle-bunny at home, and loves to lay in the sunshine. She was a wonderful mom to her pups, and although she is spayed now, I am sure she will be a fairy godmother to any new pups we have in the Tiny Teckel house.
