Yestie, as we know her, was born in August 2013. She was bred by Marika Stanovoi of the Dachshaus kennels, and is a lovely bright silver dapple. She is Champion of Croatia (’15), Estonia (’15), Belgium (’16); Grand Champion of Croatia (’17) and an FCI international champion (’17). She was Zagreb Winner ’14 and ’15; Croatian Club Winner ’14, ’15 and ’16; Continental Winner ’15; and she Crufts qualified every year she showed. In the big shows, she was 3rd in her Champion Class at the World Dog Show (Dachshund Speciality Moscow ’16) ; and she was 5th in Champion Class at the European Dog Show 2016 in Brussels. More important than her results, though, is the fact that she is the Queen of my Heart!
We love her to bits! She is my shadow and always by my side, and the closest thing you could come to saying “my favourite”.
We planned a litter from Yestie once we finished her showing career. Her puppies were born 31st May 2017 in Moscow, Russia; the litter was bred by Yulia Chalova due to my health situation at the time. We call Yestie’s pups the R&B litter (R litter for Yulia and B litter for me). On the way back from the UK, where two of Yestie’s pups went to live, we stopped to do the Leuven International Dog Show in Belgium, knowing the timing, I had entered Yestie and having not been in the ring for over 18 months, she was Best Opposite Sex, CAC/CACIB after winning Champion Class and the beating the other girls in the Best Female lineup. She loves being in the ring. She is my sweetheart!
We may not show often now, but in two years she will be a Veteran and if all goes well, we will be back in the ring.
