CRUFTS!!!!  Woot woot!!

We went off to Crufts not expecting anything other than enjoying the “greatest show” in the dog world.  We had a wonderful time, enjoyed our class and as expected did not get shortlisted.  Yestie is a little kaninchen, European-type and a dapple to boot — but we did have real fun.  We enjoyed having friends from Estonia come to Holland and travel with us to the UK – they also showed their kaninchen wires.  So a good time.  I am left with two souvenirs – some lovely photos by Yulia Titovets, a dog photographer extraordinaire working as an official Cruft photog and a charming English cold complete with snuffles.

Yestie is such a sweet girl.  We hope to breed her later this year and have a litter with little dapple and Black and Tan kaninchen puppies, hoping for a little girlie to show!

Yestie, Yestie, Yestie

I always feel quite bad blogging about Yestie – as she is the one I am showing, but you would almost think I only have one dog!

But I am really proud of her again today. She has done a sterling job, and has another CACIB.

That makes four CACIBs, in three countries (Holland, Croatia and Belgium), the first one was in Holland on 2 November 2014, at the Bleiswijk show. She will need a final CACIB for her international championship anytime after 2 November 2015. We will see what we can do!

She has three CAC in Belgium, needing one more after September 2015 for her Belgian championship. She has already gotten a Croatian championship. I am still very stunned by the two of us doing as well as we have.

In 14 shows, we have gathered 4x CACIB (2x HR, 1x NL, 1x BE), 1x RCACIB (BE), 3x CAC HR, 3x CAC BE, 1x RCAC BE, 1x RCAC NL, BOB/BIG3 Genk, BOB/BIG3 Hageland Kerstshow, Croatian Club Winner, Zagreb Winner. She is a really sweet girlie and if we practiced a bit more, I would be less stressed showing her. So — practice is the word of the week.
